Information Technology

The Information Technology Committee is responsible for maintaining the Association Web site as well as assisting the Executive Committee & Staff with any technology related issues or questions.

This year the Committee relocated the web site to Firehouse Solutions which has allowed association members and committee chairs to better communicate and report. In the Members Section there is a calendar, a document repository and meeting minutes repository; as well as discussion forums.

We are up to almost 150 users. However, the Income Tax Incentive Committee reported over 1100 members received the $3500 Income Tax Reduction, which means we are only about 10% of the way there.

All Committee Chairs have been reminded to send your reports to Brenda for the Convention Book. If your report was online already, she could copy and paste it in the book - PLEASE SIGN UP!

We have now added a "Committees" section to the Public Area of the site. This is a great place to put information you want to get out to the public, or general information for Members. Remember that everyone can see it - even the media - so be careful what you post.

The IT Committee would like to see the web address added to the Logo, stationary, and signatures used by the Association.
