On Saturday July 1st, the Brentwood Volunteer Fire Department showed the true tradition of Volunteers helping Volunteers. With their new E One Engine going in service soon, they passed their 1989 Seagrave on to a Department in Hawkins County Tennessee for $1.

Sending this Engine to Hawkins County follows in the footsteps of College Park VFD (Co.12) donating a 1992 Darly pumper, and Laurel VFD (Co.10) donating a 1999 American LaFrance engine. Hawkins County Tennessee is one of 12 "At Risk" counties in the State with 18% of residents income below poverty level.

The PGCVFRA is proud of our member Companies efforts to assist the member Companies of the Hawkins County Volunteer Firemen's Association and their President, Bill Killen
