On Friday April 28th, the Prince George's County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association sponsored our 1st Volunteer for a Day Program for local municipal and county officials. The program was formed to reach out to share the skills and work of our Volunteers in Prince George's County, in a hands on format as well as in a classroom setting at the Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute in College Park. All attendees enjoyed the experience of gearing up and gaining hands on insight into the Fire and EMS services our Volunteers provid every day.
