The Officers of the Prince George's County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association extend our condolences to the Finamore family, as well as the Officers and Members of the Allentown Road Volunteer Fire Department on the passing of Volunteer Fire Chief 32 Nick Finamore.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all arrangements for Chief Finamore are limited. Existing safety guidelines and mandates will be followed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone. There will be a private viewing for "family only" and the funeral service and burial will be by "invitation only." If you wish to pay your respects to Chief Finamore, you may do so along the procession route.
Private Viewing, Funeral, and Burial Arrangements are scheduled for Monday, January 11th, 2021.
Private Viewing is reserved for family only.
Funeral Services & Burial
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM and burial will follow. Funeral services and burial is by invitation only by the family. The family will personally contact fire department members who they have requested to attend. If you did not receive an invitation from the family, DO NOT proceed to the funeral service or burial.
Procession Route Information
There will be several different locations along the procession route where friends, uniformed personnel, and fire department companies from PGFD and partnering agencies can pay their respects to Chief Finamore. We expect the procession will begin at approximately 10:15 AM but is subject to change. We are asking those who wish to pay their respects along the procession route to begin gathering at 9:15 AM to allow for ample time for coordination.
There will be two (2) different gathering locations for coordination along the procession route:

The plan is to have all static display apparatus staged by 9:15 AM on Monday, January 11, 2021.
