Subject: Vaccination Update
Yesterday, we were advised that the Prince George's County Health Department will be increasing the availability COVID-19 vaccine appointments for our Department. With these additional times, we are asking that members complete the google application in this link: https://forms.gle/LSWMtuWmzAgxWaVy5 . For those personnel that have already provided availability, please update your availability based on these additional days. It is our goal to have all operational members of our Department vaccinated by the end of next week.
Additional Health Department clinic appointments are as follows:
Friday, January 8, 2021: 100 additional appointments are available
Saturday, January 9, 2021: 300+ available appointments
Sunday, January 10, 2021: 300+ available appointments
Next Week Monday thru Friday (January 11-15, 2021) expanded Clinic Hours (no evenings currently planned): 150 appointments per day
Process: Once the additional applications are received, we will prioritize, and a link to the Health Departments records system will be sent to you via email. Within that link, you will complete the vaccination registration process and have the option to choose an appointment time that is convenient for you. Once clinic hours close each day, we will reprocess the availability list to determine the schedule for the following day. If you received a registration link and couldn't schedule based on the availability of appointment times, you will be reprioritized based on your future availability and receive an updated link for registration. Any unfilled appointments will be made available via a mass email blast to personnel as an additional opportunity for those who have expressed interest in being vaccinated.
Clinic Location Change: Be aware that starting Saturday, January 9, 2021 we will be moving the vaccination clinic location to the Sports and Learning Complex located at 8001 Sherriff Road, Landover, Maryland 20785.
Civilians/Administrative Members: Currently, all administrative staff that have no direct public contact have been classified in the "1E" prioritization by the Health Department. The official timeframe in which the Health Department will reach this category for vaccination had not been determined as of yet. However, as previously expressed, efforts to ensure that all doses of the vaccine are used and not wasted may present some immediate and very short notice opportunities for civilian and administrative members to be vaccinated.
