The Prince Georges County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association serves as the advocate for the current and future success of our 36 Volunteer Fire and EMS Departments within Prince Georges County. Our goal is to support the Volunteer Service providers which include approximately 1000 currently certified first responders as well as hundreds of Volunteer support staff throughout the county. As we work through several challenges currently facing the Volunteer Fire and EMS system, it is important that we recognize those leaders within our County Government who are engaging in the task of bettering our service capabilities to the citizens. Together we can provide world class Emergency Services to the citizens and visitors of Prince Georges County.

We would like to thank.....
County Executive Angela D. Alsobrooks and her staff for reaching out and taking time to meet with PGCVFRA Leadership in the near future.

Prince Georges County Council Chair Todd M. Turner and the entire Council for their ongoing Legislative and Funding support.

Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Mark McGaw and his staff for engaging in the negotiation process needed for one of the largest combination Volunteer / Career Fire and EMS services in the nation.
