The Officers and Members of the Morningside Volunteer Fire Department are attacking recruiting like a 1st due box alarm. Since making the decision to serve their community as a 100% Volunteer staffed department, recruitment and retention has become a major priority. While the department has a strong presence on social media and an active website, they have added more tools also. Members use a mobile recruiting booth that is transported in a trailer with a full advertising wrap the participate in events around the region.
