Kentland VFD Adds New Rescue Engine

College Park VFD(Co.12) Specs New Ladder Truck

The College Park Volunteer Fire Department has placed an order for a new Volunteer owned Ladder Truck to replace the county owned unit that is assigned to them now. The unit will be built by Pierce and features a rear mount 105’ Aerial Ladder on an Enforcer chassis. Hyattsville (Co.1) Adds Another New Ambulance

Through much hard work and dedication, the Officers and Members of the Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department are preparing to place a in 2nd new ambulance for service. They have purchased a 2015 Ford F550 XLT Ultramedic Type 1 ambulance from Road Rescue through Atlantic Emergency Solutions. The unit will serve as a BLS unit, and is also outfitted to be upgraded to an ALS unit as staffing is available.

Accokeek VFD(Co.24) Specs Mini Pumper

The Accokeek VFD recently finalized the order for a new mini pumper to meet the unique needs of their first due area. the unit will be built by Rosenbauer with a 1000 gpm pump and 300 gallon tank on a 2016 Ford F550 4X4 chassis. We look forward to seeing the finished unit soon.
