Fall Back & Stay Safe

We want to remind everyone to remember to change the battery in all smoke alarms as you set clocks back 1 hour this weekend. Working smoke alarms save lives and a fresh battery is cheap insurance. All smoke alarms have a manufacture date in them and should be replaced within 1o years. The updated local codes require replacement with 10 year sealed units. PGCVFRA TOYS FOR TOTS BICYCLE CHALLENGE

The PGCVFRA is once again challenging each station to donate a new bicycle to Toys For Tots this holiday season. The goal is to have at least one bicycle from each company. Last year several companies donated two bicycles and helmets resulting in a donation of approximately 70 bicycles and several helmets. Let's see if we can't top last year's total!

Accokeek VFD Updating Units

The Accokeek Volunteer Fire Department (Co.24) has placed orders for 2 new units to serve the citizens of Prince Georges County. Our member companies apparatus purchases save taxpayers millions of dollars and reflect the pride taken in their departments.

BGE Offers Emergency Response and Safety Grants
