The Prince George's County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association and Ladies Auxiliary's Annual Convention is fast approaching. This year's convention will be held the week of September 12-18, 2010. This is the 88th annual convention (80th for the Ladies Auxiliary) and is being hosted by the Association.
There are a number of activities during this week-long event, including opening ceremonies, a memorial service honoring deceased members, meetings for both the firefighters and Ladies Auxiliary, crowning of the fire prevention queen and a variety of firefighter contests. On Saturday, September 18, a parade will close out the activities and events.

Friday, September 17
BBQ, 2nd meeting, ladies installation, hosted by West Lanham Hills VFD, Co. 48
Saturday, September 18
Prayer Breakfast, Hook-Ups, Parade, Awards and Dance Branchville VFC, Co. 11, will host the Prayer Breakfast, Parade and Awards/Dance Berwyn Heights VFD, Co. 14, will host the Hook-Ups
