The Accokeek Volunteer Fire Department (Co.24) has placed orders for 2 new units to serve the citizens of Prince Georges County. Our member companies apparatus purchases save taxpayers millions of dollars and reflect the pride taken in their departments.
The first unit is a new Mini Pumper being custom built by Rosenbauer on a Ford F 550 4X4 chassis to replace their aging unit. The Mini Pumper allows access to many restricted space are in their 1st due area.
The second unit is an ambulance being built by Road Rescue on a Ford F550 4X4 chassis. The 4 wheel drive will enable them to provide the best possible service in all areas of their rural 1st due.
